Our team will take photographs, X-rays, molds and/or scans of your teeth, jaw, and facial structure to have the whole picture. Dr. Hamer or Dr. Glassick will also check your teeth and gums for signs of tooth decay, infection, or gum disease. These thorough examinations will occur at your first appointment and throughout your treatment to ensure the health and safety of your teeth and gums. They also help our orthodontists give you the most flattering final look.
With in-person care, we’ll do 90% of the work for you, so no at-home orthodontic projects! All you have to do for the remaining 10% is perform oral hygiene and keep your appliances clean!

The iTero Element Scanner Makes Treatment A Breeze.
As a patient of in-person care, you’ll experience the fantastic modern technology we invest in to give you the most efficient and comfortable experience possible on your way to a stunning smile.
The technology we would like to highlight today is our iTero Element Scanner which makes bulky, messy mold impressions a thing of the past for most patients. The iTero Element Scanner uses a small wand to take multiple scans of the teeth and gums. Then it takes all those images and creates an interactive, 3D, digital model of your mouth. Dr. Hamer or Dr. Glassick use this representation to quickly and accurately design your treatment plan. They can even show you your predicted final look! Knowing what you’re working so hard for is a great motivator to finish treatment and follow your orthodontist’s instructions out of the office.
We Have Braces!
As a top 1% Invisalign provider, we know a few things about clear aligners. And, though we love them, they’re not the best option for everybody! That’s why, unlike online providers, we proudly offer two other treatment options — metal and ceramic braces. These bonded appliances are an excellent choice for those who don’t qualify for or don’t want the responsibility of clear aligners.
